چکیده

Sesame [2] is an RDF framework with support for RDF Schema inferencing. Its main features include querying in three languages (SeRQL, RDQL, RQL), parsing and writing in several serialization syntaxes, support for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and SQL server as well as in-memory. It can be deployed as an RDF database, with persistence in an RDBMS, or as a Java library for embedded use in applications. We will demonstrate the numerous features of the Sesame framework in several scenarios. The aim of this demonstration is to make RDF tool developers aware of the possibilities of Sesame as a framework for use in combination with their own tools. Therefore, the demo will focus on the middleware capabilities of Sesame, such as expressive querying and easy API access.

Sesame: A Generic Architecture for Storing and Querying RDF and RDF Schema

RDF and RDF Schema are two W3C standards aimed at enriching the Web with machine-processable semantic data. We have developed Sesame, an architecture for efficient storage and expressive querying of large quantities of metadata in RDF and RDF Schema. Sesame’s design and implementation are independent from any specific storage device. Thus, Sesame can be deployed on top of a variety of storage d...

Sesame: An Architecture for Storin gand Querying RDF Data and Schema Information

RDF and RDF Schema provide the first W3C standard to enrich the Web with machine-processable semantic data. However, to be able to use this semantic data, a scalable, persistent RDF store and a powerful query engine using an expressive query language are needed. Sesame is an extensible architecture implementing both of these. Sesame can be based on arbitrary repositories, ranging from tradition...

Representing and Querying Arguments in RDF

This paper demonstrates the potential of the Semantic Web as a platform for representing, navigating and processing arguments on a global scale. We use the RDF Schema (RDFS) ontology language to specify the ontology of the recently proposed Argument Interchange Format (AIF) and an extension thereof to Toulmin’s argument scheme. We build a prototype Web-based system for demonstrating basic query...
